Job summary

Quest Healthcare Development is seeking a Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The role includes routine housekeeping and laundry tasks while adhering to infection control and safety standards.

The successful candidate will work with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure dignity, confidentiality, and high-quality care throughout shifts. No prior experience required, but preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical duties throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and dining areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and empty trash.
• Wash, dry, fold, sort, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment, carts, and supplies in a clean and organized manner.
• Follow established cleaning schedules, infection control practices, and safety procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, accidents, and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Treat residents with dignity, respect, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Work cooperatively with residents, families, coworkers, and other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
