Job summary

The Tampa Housing Authority is seeking a Resident Relations Specialist to serve as the primary contact for residents, external clients, and elected officials. You will handle inquiries and complaints in line with HUD ACC requirements, maintain records, and support the Resident Relations Manager in service quality.

You will log and investigate inquiries across channels, notify stakeholders within required timeframes, document actions in internal and HUD iREMS systems, and assist with HUD

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in customer service, housing compliance, or call center operations.
• Familiarity with HUD programs, COS, and PBCA operations strongly preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License; insurable under the agency’s policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage inquiries and resolve complaints per HUD ACC requirements.
• Log, investigate, and track inquiries across channels.
• Notify Owners/Agents of issues within required timeframes.
• Document actions in internal software and HUD iREMS systems.
• Prepare HUD tracking logs and reports.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
