Job summary

Villa at Pine Place is looking for a Recreational Services Aide to assist in planning, implementing and evaluating activities for residents. Under the supervision of the Recreational Services Director, you will help coordinate programs that support physical, emotional and psychosocial well-being as part of each resident’s care plan.

This role is covered by a collective bargaining agreement; full-time and part-time positions are union-represented, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant role preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements planned activity programs to meet residents’ needs and interests.
• Assist residents to and from activities and outings.
• Maintain rapport with families and encourage involvement.
• Provide input to assessments and evaluations of participation.
• Communicate residents’ concerns to the supervisor.
• Support individual resident needs and routines.
