Job summary

Senior Living Residences is seeking a patient and organized programming assistant to support the Program Director in creating, scheduling, and implementing activities for our Ridgefield residents. The role emphasizes building relationships with residents and coordinating daily programming seven days a week.

The position supports a team dedicated to compassionate care, with opportunities for professional development, inclusive benefits, and the chance to contribute to meaningful social engagement

Qualifications

• Experience working with or aging populations is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to coordinate and implement structured programming for residents.

Responsibilities

• Form meaningful relationships with residents and families.
• Help implement and coordinate the balanced daily programming schedule for 7 days per week.
• Support with coordination of entertainment including guest speakers, musicians, and fitness instructors.
• Participate in scheduled outings, ensuring safety during transportation and off-site activities.
• Assist with developing monthly newsletters, taking photos, and updating social media.
