Job summary

Qualifications

• Good verbal communication skills.

• Basic understanding of cleanliness, organization and safety.
• Prior food service and/or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals in a timely manner according to Federal, State and Corporate requirements.
• Perform duties in a safe and sanitary manner.
• In the director's absence, supervise staff of Nutritional Services.
• Attend meetings and in-services as required.
• Present a professional image to consumers and adhere to company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
• Ensure patient/resident rights are protected.
