Job summary

DeCoach Recovery in Fairborn, OH is seeking a Resident Monitor to support a safe, structured milieu for clients while performing non-clinical duties in a behavioral health setting.

The position involves crisis listening, documentation, and coordinating transport and administrative tasks, with monthly supervision and ongoing training. A high school diploma and commitment to confidentiality are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old and a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
• Maintain professional boundaries with clients and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, secure, structured milieu.
• Act as a non-clinical resource for clients; provide crisis intervention and active listening.
• Maintain written documentation and reports on client activity and behavior.
• Perform facilities maintenance and report issues to Supervisor.
• Perform administrative office tasks: client chart reviews, answering phones, greeting guests, copying, and filing.
• Transport clients to offsite meetings/activities as needed.
• Participate in monthly individual supervision and required training programs.
• Facilitate required groups and structured activities.
• Participate in a 30-minute shift change with verbal shift report and handoff keys.
