Job summary

DeCoach Recovery is looking for a Resident Monitor for the 7pm-7am shift in Dayton, OH. The role involves maintaining a safe, structured milieu and acting as a non-clinical resource for clients, including crisis intervention when needed.

You will document client activity, handle administrative tasks, and transport clients to offsite meetings. Regular supervision and mandatory training are provided to support your professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, secure, structured milieu.
• Serve as a non-clinical resource for clients and provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Maintain written documentation and reports on client activity and behavior.
• Perform facilities maintenance tasks and report issues to Supervisor.
• Handle administrative office tasks such as client chart reviews, answering phones, greeting guests, copying, and filing.
• Transport clients to offsite meetings/activities as needed.
• Participate in monthly individual supervision and required training programs.
• Facilitate groups and structured activities.
• Handle shift change with verbal shift report and keys transfer.

The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative team environment, providing therapeutic interventions to individuals struggling with behavioral health challenges. As a resident monitor, you will have the opportunity to help clients overcome barriers, provide solution-focused interventions, and make a meaningful impact by saving lives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, secure, structured milieu
• Act as a non-clinical resourcefor clients, for example; provide crisis intervention, be an active listener to client, answer non-clinical questions for client
• Maintain appropriate written documentation and written and/or verbal reports on client activity and behavior
• Perform any required facilities maintenanceand/or report issues to Supervisor
• Perform administrative office tasks, as example: client chart reviews, answering phones, greeting guests, copying, and filing
• Transportclients to offsite meetings/activities, as needed
• Participate in monthly individual supervision
• Participate in all required training programs
• Facilitate required groups and structured activities
• Participate in a 30-minute shift change, including giving or receiving verbal shift report and passing keys to incoming staff
• Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

• Required to be 21 years old, high school graduate or equivalent
