Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living is seeking a Resident Medication Aide at Crossgate in Albany, NY to assist residents with daily living activities and medication administration under physician orders.

The role emphasizes compliance with regulations, compassionate care, and teamwork within a memory-care oriented environment; requires a HS diploma or GED and 2 years of resident care experience. Evening, night and weekend shifts are available, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of resident care experience or training required.
• Successful completion of all trainings as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility and incontinence care as needed.
• Assist in monitoring the medication program.
• Dispense medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the MAR for all residents.
