Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred or as required by law.
• One year caregiving experience preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required.

Responsibilities

• Assist memory-impaired residents with bathing, grooming and dressing while maintaining dignity and independence.
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding residents' rights.
• Maintain and document proper care records.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the supervisor (illness, behavior changes, unmet needs, medication issues, missing residents).
• Encourage residents to participate in community activities.
