Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Resident Medication Aide in Albany, NY to assist residents with daily living activities and monitor medication administration per physician orders.

We offer full-time schedules (7am-3pm or 11pm-7am) with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Salary ranges from $16.50 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Two years of resident care experience or training required.
• Successfully complete trainings as required by state regulations.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with residents' rights regulations.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, etc.).
• Assist in monitoring the medication program.
• Dispense medication in accordance with physician orders and MAR.

Resident Medication Aide Responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed
• Assist in monitoring the medication program
• Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record for all residents

Resident Medication Aide Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Two (2) years of resident care experience and/or training required
• Successfully complete all trainings as required by state regulations
