Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food preparation, follow dietary requirements, and ensure a clean dining environment.

This role emphasizes teamwork, positive interactions with residents, and adherence to safety and vaccination policies. Training is provided and opportunities for career development exist within a supportive, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certifications: ServSafe or Food Handler required where state/county law applies.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
