Job summary

Healthcare Services Group Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food prep, serve meals per dietary needs, and maintain clean dining areas while following safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes positive resident interactions and teamwork in a supportive environment with opportunities for hands-on training and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, stand/sit/bend/walk for extended periods.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies where required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
