Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to help prepare and serve meals for residents in a long‑term care facility. You will follow dietary guidelines, assist with food prep, and ensure sanitary dining areas.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable communication, and adherence to safety policies while providing compassionate resident care. Training and ongoing support are provided by HCSG.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state/county law.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
