Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare in Texas is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to join our team. You will collect, wash, dry linens and garments, and transport laundry to resident areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety.

You will maintain a clean laundry area, follow infection-control procedures, and report hazards. A high school diploma or GED and related experience are preferred; reading and following directions are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Related experience for the role.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, and dry linens and other garments as directed.
• Count and distribute daily clean linen and garments.
• Wash personal clothing of residents who request this service.
• Maintain the laundry room in a clean and orderly manner; clean when necessary.
• Transport laundry to and from resident rooms, laundry, and other locations as directed.
• Comply with all policies and procedures related to safety and infection control procedures.
• Report hazardous conditions or equipment to the Director of Support Services.
• Promote positive relationships with residents and visitors.
