Job summary

IntersectHC is seeking a Laundry Aide to support the Maintenance team in our care facilities. You will sort, launder, and deliver clean linen to resident rooms while maintaining infection control standards.

This role requires the ability to run two laundry loads per hour, attention to detail, and reliable communication with residents and staff. High school diploma or equivalent is required, and experience in industrial or commercial laundry is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous laundry experience in industrial or commercial setting beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled laundry and presoak as required.
• Operate washers and dryers with appropriate cycles and temps.
• Distribute linens to residents and assist with delivery.
• Follow Infection Control procedures for laundering isolation linens.
• Maintain and clean laundry department equipment and area.
