Job summary

The waters of wabash east is seeking a full-time Laundry Aide to manage resident laundry and linens in accordance with facility policy. Duties include collecting, sorting, laundering, distributing, and storing items per sanitary guidelines.

Responsibilities involve washing, drying, folding, labeling with resident names, returning items to rooms, and maintaining a clean work area while collaborating with the housekeeping team and supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to work independently and set priorities.
• English communication skills (verbal and written) required.

Responsibilities

• Sorts and laundered laundry according to policy and sanitary guidelines.
• Washes, dries, folds, and hangs laundry neatly.
• Identifies items with resident names and returns clean items to rooms.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and supports housekeeping duties as needed.
• Works with facility staff to ensure a sanitary environment for residents and staff.
