Mission Point Health Care is seeking a Laundry Aide to support the Maintenance department in providing clean linens to residents. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry while ensuring respectful interaction with residents and team members.

You will follow infection control procedures, operate laundry machinery, and maintain a tidy, safe work area. Reliability and the ability to work independently are essential, with attention to HIPAA confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Previous laundry experience in industrial or commercial setting beneficial.
• Must know laundry machines and cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled laundry and presoak as required.
• Operate washers and dryers with correct cycles and temperatures.
• Sort and fold clean laundry for storage or linen carts.
• Deliver resident laundry using clean linen carts; check items for repairs.
• Follow infection control procedures for laundering isolation items.
• Maintain department cleanliness and equipment safety.
• Attend staff meetings and keep supervisor informed.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and professional conduct.
