Job summary

PACS is seeking a Laundry Aide to support the Nursing Department by providing clean linens and handling resident belongings. The role covers bed-making, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing laundry across resident care areas.

Work focuses in the facility laundry area; candidates should follow infection-control procedures and safety guidelines. Prior laundry, housekeeping, healthcare, or nursing home experience is preferred; must be able to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry, housekeeping, healthcare or nursing home settings.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide clean, sanitary linens and laundry for residents and staff.
• Make unoccupied beds and add extra covers.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold and distribute laundry.
• Identify and separate personal resident clothing from linens.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers and irons safely.
• Maintain supplies of clean linens.
• Follow infection-control procedures.
