Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an Activities Coordinator to design and implement programs that meet the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of residents in accordance with company policies and regulations.

You will collaborate with care teams to develop plans, coordinate events, and ensure resident participation in a supportive environment. Strong communication, organization, and computer skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent education.
Long term care experience preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Experience with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.

Responsibilities

Participate in resident Care Plan development.
Plan activities based on assessment and care plan to reflect stimulation or solace, physical, cognitive and emotional health.
Plan activities reflecting religious and cultural interests; include night/weekend activities and seasonal events.
Plan individual, group and bedside activities.
Maintain a schedule of on-going activities.
Coordinate Resident’s Council meetings at least once a month.
Plan Reality Orientation one-to-one sessions.
Document activity interests and changes in Care Plans.
Work with staff to ensure resident participation.
Coordinate volunteer services and outside resources.
Maintain supplies for the Activity Department.
Arrange transportation to activities in other locations.
Participate in Quality Assurance team meetings.
Compute operating costs, maintain records, and prepare reports.
Attend Interdisciplinary Team meetings.
