Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Community Relations Director to lead the sales and marketing efforts at the Jupiter community. You will oversee activities staff across independent living and assisted living, planning daily programs and special events that celebrate residents and foster community engagement.

The role emphasizes partnerships, wellness across seven areas, and a strong social media presence, with a focus on dignity, privacy, and high-quality resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Entry-level (0-3+ years)
• Must have experience leading small or large group events
• Acceptable fluency in English to perform job duties
• Must be competent with Microsoft Suite, Outlook Email, Online learning portals, and Social Media

Responsibilities

• Foster a fun work environment centered around celebrating the lives of our residents
• Oversee activities staff in independent living and assisted living areas of the community
• Plan and lead daily programs within the community
• Develop opportunities for team members from other departments to create and lead programs
• Plan and execute special events for residents in collaboration with the sales and marketing departments
• Recognize and honor individuality, diversity, and spirituality of residents when planning programs
• Develop rapport with residents to encourage participation in community programs and events
• Promote the SLC wellness model across seven wellness areas
• Develop and distribute a monthly calendar of events and newsletter by the first of each month
• Organize and lead trips outside the community to connect residents with the greater community
• Develop partnerships inside and outside the community to enhance programs
• Promote the lifestyle through an active social media presence and collaboration with sales/marketing
• Oversee the resident ambassador program
• Assist with seasonal/holiday décor
• Keep flyers, bulletin boards and digital signs updated per SLC/Brand standards
• Conduct duties preserving resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned
