Distinctive Living in Royal Palm, FL seeks a Director of Resident Experience (Full-Time) to lead all resident activities, create monthly calendars, arrange external entertainment, assess resident preferences and coordinate with management for smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred in Social Service, Business, or a field related to the position.
• Must have proven management experience and ability to manage staff.
• Minimum of three years' experience in assisted living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident interest and activity needs at move-in and ongoing using the Resident Interest Worksheet and meet new residents within 7 days.
• Coordinate and carry out resident activities daily within budget; develop monthly event calendar.
• Arrange entertainment within budget and manage supplies within budgetary limits.
• Hold quarterly events that can be used for marketing; coordinate with Community Relations Director and management staff.
• Provide transportation for activities and coordinate outings and medical trips.
• Ensure safety and compliance; assist with investigations and return-to-work processes as needed.
• Foster teamwork and proactive problem-solving; positively impact residents and coworkers.
