Job summary

Dial Senior Living in Lincoln, NE seeks an Activities Coordinator to create engaging resident experiences and promote a vibrant community. You will plan, lead, and document a wide range of activities across physical, social, and educational categories, while building meaningful relationships with residents.

The role involves coordinating outings, decorating for events, and supporting staff across departments to enhance resident life. Some evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office experience.
• Ability to assist residents with mobility and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, implementing, and leading activities across physical, social, recreational, intellectual/educational, creative, entertainment, religious, service/volunteering, and special requests of residents.
• Lead group activities while encouraging resident participation and building positive relationships.
• Document resident engagement daily in LifeLoop and track engagement trends.
• Coordinate community outings, events and celebrations, acting as chaperone as needed.
• Familiarize yourself with each resident's activity preferences and promote activities accordingly.
• Assist with decoration of the facility for events and holidays.
• Invite and remind residents to participate in planned activities and help them move to activities.
• Support social media content creation and posting for the community.
• Drive the company vehicle for resident activities and appointments as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance resident experiences.
• Identify and requisition needed supplies for activities.
