Job summary

Danbury in Mount Vernon, OH is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant for part-time and PRN roles. Shifts include Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9am to 5pm, with additional PRN pickups as needed.

The position focuses on planning and performing activities that enhance residents' social welfare and interests. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of related experience, a compassionate approach to seniors, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum one to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Compassionate towards the senior population.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team.

Responsibilities

• Actively support the Life Enrichment Director with planning, communication and execution of activities and life skills.
• Support transportation by attending outings and coordinating related tasks.
• Assist with setup, cleanup and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
• Maintain resident safety and follow departmental standards.
