Job summary

Front Porch is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant in Santa Rosa, CA to support planning and delivery of programs that promote residents’ social engagement and well-being. The role involves coordinating activities, assisting during programs and outings, and fostering a positive community experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 6 months of prior work experience in an organization.

Responsibilities

• Implement programs to meet residents' individual needs, interests and abilities, both individually and through community participation.
• Assist in provisioning materials and supplies and maintain inventory to complete activities.
• Prepare and post a calendar of activities; communicate with residents and families about activities and information.
• Assist with assessments and maintain records, plans, reports and evaluations of the program and participation.
• Assist with conducting activities and stay engaged during activities.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating locations and transportation for outings; coordinate with external vendors or groups as needed.
• Provide direction to volunteers and vendors as directed by the Director of Life Enrichment.
• Recognize and report concerns regarding residents' physical, mental, or emotional status to management.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
