St. Ann Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Activity Assistant to join our Life Enrichment team. You will assist the Enrichment Director in planning and executing activities and events tailored to residents, promoting engagement and comfort.

You will help lead individual and group activities, coordinate with therapy models (pet, music, art), and support decorating for events while maintaining resident records. This role emphasizes dignity, kindness, and community within the center.

Aufgaben

• Assist the resident activity director as needed
• Utilize the environment to provide comfort and stimulation to the resident population
• Foster a sense of community within the center environment
• Lead and participate in individual and group activities
• Utilize various models to achieve individualized programming, such as pet therapy, music therapy, art therapy, etc.
• Assist with decorating the facility and preparing for special events and seasonal parties
• Participate in recreational programs for residents confined to their rooms
• Maintain records of activities and attendance
• Store activity equipment and supplies and clean the area after the activity
• Provide or arrange for comfort/support to residents and families when needed
• Perform other tasks as assigned
