Job summary

The Meadows of Napa Valley in Napa, CA is seeking an enthusiastic Life Enrichment Assistant to support resident activities and programming. You will help plan and implement engaging daily activities aligned with residents' social, physical and emotional well-being.

Working closely with the Life Enrichment Director, coordinators and staff, you will interact with residents and families in a compassionate, professional manner, contributing to a welcoming community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One+ year of experience in long-term care, home care, or related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual preferred.
• First Aid Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates a varied daily program of activities to meet residents' recreational needs and boost stimulation.
• Works with Life Enrichment Director, Coordinators, Volunteers and staff to support social, physical and emotional functioning of residents.
• Interacts with residents, families, coworkers, and staff in a kind, professional, and compassionate manner.
