Job summary

Bethesda Home of Aberdeen is seeking a part-time Activity Assistant to support your facility's recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs in line with resident care plans. You will work evenings Monday through Friday with a rotating weekend schedule and assist in coordinating transportation for events when needed.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, being 18+ with a valid license and a clean driving record, and on‑the‑job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 18 years or older with a valid license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned day-to-day Activity Department tasks.
• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activity programs.
• Observe resident attendance, mood, and involvement to evaluate progress.
