Job summary

Avantara Clark is seeking an Activity Assistant to support residents’ emotional and social wellbeing in a friendly Skilled Nursing setting. You will help implement and direct activity programs that meet the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of residents and assist with overseeing all aspects of the Activity Department.

This is a part‑time position that may include evenings and weekends. Eligible applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; prior Activity Aide or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Activity Aide or Assistant Activity Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferred.
• NCCAP certification encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing and directing activity programs to meet residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
• Oversee all aspects of the Activity Department and participate in resident care conferences; help develop new activities and keep up with trends.
