Job summary

Avantara Milbank is seeking an Activity Director to lead engaging programs that support residents’ emotional and social wellbeing within a caring skilled nursing setting. You will supervise the Activity Department, participate in care conferences, and craft programs aligned with trends and standards to ensure resident comfort and safety.

Minimum education includes a high school diploma; prior experience as an Activity Aide/Director in a SNF is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior Activity Aide and/or Activity Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct activity programs to meet physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of residents.
• Oversee all aspects of the Activity Department and participate in resident care conferences.
• Develop and implement new activity programs; stay current with industry trends and standards.
