HCF in Coudersport, PA is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the care community’s activity program, coordinating programs, interviewing residents and families to determine interests, and helping supervise volunteers.

Ideal candidates have at least a grammar school education with a high school diploma preferred, are compassionate, team players and service-minded, and will follow policies and participate in in-service education.

Qualifications

• Minimum grammar school education; high school diploma preferred.
• Experience in similar roles is desired.
• Must follow policies and procedures.
• Strong communication with residents, staff and visitors.

Responsabilités

• Follow HCF policy and procedures.
• Meet job-related competencies as outlined in the Skills Competency Manual.
• Assist in the organization and completion of all planned programs.
• Interview new residents and their families to determine interests and abilities.
• Attend required in-service education.
• Assist with supervising and coordinating volunteers.
• Communicates effectively with residents, staff and visitors.
• All other duties as assigned.
