Sweden Valley Manor is seeking an Activity Assistant to help implement the facility's activity program and enhance resident engagement. You will follow policies, assist with planned activities, and interact with residents and their families in a caring environment.

The role may involve coordinating volunteers and collaborating with staff to ensure meaningful daily experiences for residents. A supportive team and on-site work setting are provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Must follow HCF Policy and Procedures
• Must meet job related competencies as outlined in the Skills Competency Manual
• Assists in the organization and completion of all planned programs
• Interviews new residents and their families to determine interests and abilities, family history and background
• Attend required in-service educationAssists with supervising and coordinating volunteers
• Communicates effectively with residents, staff and visitors
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements
