Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer 1 year in a long-term care facility.
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting individual and group activities.
• Support communication between staff, residents and families.
• Help maintain activity calendars and attendance records.
• Assist with discharge planning and care plans for residents.
• Arrange transportation for residents when needed.
• Encourage participation in self-initiated activities like crafts or reading.
• Maintain a clean and safe Activity Department environment.
