Job summary

Lakeview Terrace Retirement Community is seeking an Activities Assistant to support Resident Life and Fitness Coordinators. You will help plan, execute, and maintain community activities, manage supplies, and assist residents with engagement and technology needs.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years in geriatrics, and a valid Florida driver’s license. A 21+ age minimum applies; a 4-year experience preference and an Associates degree are noted as preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years' experience with geriatrics required.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Florida driver's license.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning and purchasing of supplies for Resident Life programs within budget.
• Assist in planning the Resident Life Program by gathering input from residents.
• Assist Resident Life Coordinator in implementing programs across Wellness Center, Clubhouse and Community Building.
• Provide residents with technology instruction and support (streaming TV, computer meetings, smartphones).
• Complete required trainings and adhere to budget and regulatory requirements.
