Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Life Engagement Assistant in its assisted living neighborhood. You will support the Life Engagement Coordinator in planning and implementing programs and events for residents, delivering the Acts Signature Experience focusing on wellness, personalization, and hospitality.

The role requires 1+ year of activities/recreation experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a dementia engagement Certification (or commitment to obtain within a year)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of activities/recreation experience is required.
• Dementia engagement certification (or willingness to obtain within one year) is required.
• Current or eligible for CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Life Engagement Coordinator in planning and implementing programs and events for residents.
• Deliver Acts Signature Experience (ASE) focused on body, mind, and spirit, incorporating wellness and hospitality.
• Engage residents across cognitive and functional levels with activity programs informed by Montessori principles and personal history.
• Support inclusion and meaningful engagement aligned with Acts engagement philosophy.
