Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a qualified nursing professional to manage day-to-day healthcare operations in a California-based senior living community. You will ensure residents receive respectful, high-quality care and may step into Caregiver or Med Tech roles as needed to meet staffing requirements.

Education as required to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and a minimum of 1–2 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure resident’s healthcare needs are met.
Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity and that quality care is provided as needs change.
Maintains consistent quality resident care and service delivery across shifts; may assume Caregiver or Med Tech roles to meet staffing needs.
Oversees supervision of licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers; provides ongoing training and schedules.
Oversees medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision; conducts audits per Brookdale guidelines.
Shares on-call duties as required.
Education to obtain state nursing license and 1–2 years relevant experience; LPN or LVN license required.
