The role includes supervising nursing staff, coordinating medication administration, and providing ongoing education to caregivers across shifts.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of relevant experience and holds a state nursing license.

Qualifications

• Education to obtain a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) is required.
• Minimum 1–2 years relevant healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day healthcare operations to meet residents' healthcare needs.
• Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and receive quality care as needs change.
• Oversee continuity of care across shifts; may assume caregiver or med tech duties to meet staffing needs.
• Supervise licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers; provide ongoing training.
• Oversee medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision per Brookdale Guidelines.
• Share on-call duties as required.
