Job summary

Brookdale is seeking an experienced healthcare operations leader to oversee daily resident care in our Santa Monica community. The role requires a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and 1–2 years of applicable experience.

You will supervise licensed staff and caregivers, ensuring high-quality care across all shifts. You will also manage medication training and audits, and participate in ongoing education to maintain excellence in resident services.

Qualifications

• Education to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and minimum 1–2 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met.
• Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity and receive quality care as needs change.
• Maintains consistent quality resident care and service across shifts; may perform Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide duties as needed.
• Supervises licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers, and provides ongoing training.
• Oversees medication training, pharmacy management and supervision, and conducts periodic medication audits.
