Avenue5 Residential in Portland, OR is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the property manager in day-to-day operations and ensure excellent resident experiences.

You will oversee leasing administration, rent collection, reporting, and coordination with maintenance and vendors, while upholding Company policies and safety standards. The role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a fast-growing portfolio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years property management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle is required.
• Real estate license preferred in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day operations including resident satisfaction and rent collection.
• Maintain accounts receivable and rent rolls with accurate postings.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Audit lease records and resident files for accuracy.
• Handle move-ins, move-outs and lease renewals.
• Assist with training staff on leasing and office operations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety rules.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and property inspections.
• Communicate with residents, owners, and vendors to resolve issues.
