Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support daily community operations in Cook and Lake counties. You will manage rent collection, records, resident services, compliance, and reporting under site leadership, with emphasis on service excellence and safety.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, maintaining files for audits, coordinating move-ins and recertifications, and assisting in inspections and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS Diploma or GED with 1–3 years relevant experience.
• Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operation of the community and ensure a welcoming environment; respond during emergencies as needed.
• Manage rent receivables, deposits, posting, and delinquent notices per CCAC policies; process invoices.
• Assist with housing applications, move-in and recertification processes, and lease preparation.
• Support audits, compliance reports, and documentation in line with CCAC standards.
• Coordinate resident activities, outreach, waitlists, and vendor relationships.
