Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a part-time Cook in Cincinnati to prepare meals per approved menus, maintain a clean kitchen, and assist with supervising dietary staff in the absence of the Dining Services Director. The role includes taking temperatures, following special diets, and participating in in-service trainings.

The candidate should have dining services experience, be Serv-Safe certified or willing to obtain certification within 60 days, and be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• Experience in dining services operations.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present menu items according to standard recipes.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times.
• Supervise dietary staff in the absence of the Dining Services Director.
• Report faulty equipment and unsafe items to supervisor.
• Take and record food temperatures three times daily.
• Attend required in-service and staff meetings.
• Be familiar with residents’ dietary needs and preferences, including special diets.
