Bickford Senior Living in Bourbonnais, IL is hiring a Cook to support the Kitchen Manager and prepare meals for residents in our Bread Basket dining experience. You will follow menus, plate meals timely, and ensure proper food temperatures.

This role involves engaging with residents during meals, washing dishes as needed, maintaining kitchen and dining room cleanliness, and assisting with events or tours. We value dependability, a learner’s mindset, and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Serve food timely at correct temperatures and appropriately plated.
• Maintain compliance with Bickford's processes during meal service.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room to enhance dining experience.
• Wash dishes, pots and pans per dishwashing procedure.
• Follow Kitchen Daily Task Guide and track dietary restrictions.
• Store food per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Keep kitchen and dining area clean and organized.
