Job summary

Glen Meadows Retirement Community in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to help maintain a comfortable home for residents. You will clean apartments and common areas, follow safety guidelines, and build friendly relationships with residents and team members.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
• Experience in housekeeping in a hospitality, commercial or residential setting preferred.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new residents and learn their cleaning preferences.
• Clean residents’ apartments and community spaces on a regular schedule.
• Perform deep cleaning of apartments after residents move out and care for vacant apartments.
• Clean and prepare model apartments and guest suites.
• Keep common areas clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas in a clean and organized way.
