CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a full-time Housekeeper in Des Moines, IA, 8am–4:30pm. You will clean residents' apartments and public areas according to schedule and established procedures, and you will perform laundry duties in our commercial facilities.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking of English.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all areas as assigned according to standards and procedures.
• Maintains clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas according to established standards.
• Makes independent decisions and follows instructions.
• Deals tactfully with residents, families, visitors, staff and others.
• Follows written and oral instructions for mixing cleaning compounds and disinfectants.
• Relays information about a resident’s condition accurately.
• Uses supplies economically and reports needs to supervisor for replenishment.
• Operates buffers, extraction equipment, vacuums and all commercial laundry equipment.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by Housekeeping Lead.
