Job summary

Family House is seeking a Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant to keep guest rooms and public areas clean and comfortable. The role involves laundry duties as well as regular housekeeping tasks, with attention to safety and guest satisfaction.

You will work in a hospital-adjacent setting, supporting families during medical crises and providing a clean, welcoming environment for visitors around the clock.

Qualifications

• Friendly and responsive service to guests.
• Adheres to established cleaning processes and procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff and guests.
• Organized management of housekeeping carts and linen areas.
• Able to report issues to leadership and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned guest rooms and bathrooms to established standards.
• Cleans public areas, lounges, laundry areas and hallways.
• Observes precautions to protect guest property.
• Maintains housekeeping carts, chemical rooms, linen rooms and supply rooms.
• Communicates with Housekeeping Manager on progress.
• Reports safety hazards and repairs when needed.
• Responds to guest requests to ensure satisfaction.
• May be assigned to laundry duties as needed.
