Responsibilities include cleaning common areas, resident rooms, and laundry, with seasonal duties as assigned. Must follow schedules, maintain inventory, and uphold safety and confidentiality in a hospital-style environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year housekeeping/cleaning experience.
• Able to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak and understand English.
• Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in the resident’s best interest.
• Ability to motivate oneself and work independently
• Ability to be flexible and to work with other staff and residents
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals
• Good work ethic
• Maintains confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent & quality work to the residents and staff
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart
• Follow job routines and instructions according to the assigned housekeeping schedule.
• Assure resident apartment and laundry are clean and sanitized as scheduled.
• Maintain inventory for daily needs & notify supervisor of supply issues
• Assist in keeping all common areas neat, clean and safe.
• Follow the daily schedule to ensure all tasks are accomplished in a timely manner.
• Weekly cleaning & laundry in resident’s rooms
