Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. seeks a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in a long-term care facility. You will contribute to outstanding resident experiences and support a positive community presence.

Responsibilities include daily room and common area cleaning, sanitation per established procedures, and timely reporting of issues. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; able to lift up to 50 lbs; on-site employment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
