Gentle Touch Health Initiatives seeks a dedicated housekeeping professional to support residents and staff. You will maintain clean living spaces, assist with laundry, and stock supplies, following a structured schedule. The role requires independent work habits, attention to detail, and knowledge of cleaning chemicals.

Shifts vary, including weekends and evenings; you will contribute to a safe, clean campus environment that positively impacts residents, families, and staff daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year housekeeping/cleaning experience.
• Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in the resident’s best interest.
• Ability to motivate oneself and work independently.
• Ability to be flexible and to work with other staff and residents.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
• Good work ethic.
• Mantains confidentiality.
• Able to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent & quality work to the residents and staff.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart.
• Follow job routines and instructions according to the assigned housekeeping schedule.
• Assure resident apartment and laundry are clean and sanitized as scheduled.
• Maintain inventory for daily needs & notify supervisor of supply issues.
• Assist in keeping all common areas neat, clean and safe.
• Follow the daily schedule to ensure all tasks are accomplished in a timely manner.
• Vacuuming hallways, elevators and furniture.
• Washing inside glass doors and windows.
• Sweeping and/or mopping floors.
• Cleaning and stocking supplies in restroom.
• Dusting.
• Rubbish/trash removal.
• Washing / polishing woodwork and baseboards.
• Seasonal duties as assigned.
