Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must possess at minimum a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrates compassion and dignity when serving residents and families.
• Adheres to attendance policies and employment terms per handbook.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident information and protects rights.
• Knowledge of community services and rates for resident/family information and tours.

Responsibilities

• Receive guests and visitors, signing them in.
• Assist visitors in finding resident rooms.
• Answer phones, take messages, and forward information to staff.
• Announce appointments and arrivals to staff.
• Type memos, correspondence, reports and other documents as requested.
• Sort mail and distribute to mailboxes, residents, and departments.
• Create and maintain a warm, personal, and positive atmosphere.
• Keep front desk and lobby area neat and organized.
• Perform duties assigned by Business Office Manager or Executive Director.
• Ensure residents and families receive high quality service in a caring atmosphere.
• Report exposures to blood or infectious materials per policy.
• Report work-related injuries and illnesses to supervisor.
• Complete training and skills competency as assigned.
