Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a courteous Dining Server to deliver meals to residents and guests, assist with menu orders, and maintain a clean dining environment. You will handle beverage service, refills, and assist with tray service while upholding confidentiality and high standards of care.

Responsibilities include cleaning duties, equipment reporting, and participating in in-services. A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required to support residents' needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to learn quickly and apply learned principles.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet.
• Must be organized and willing to work well with other team members.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be in clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident and guest meals courteously and assist with menu orders.
• Provide beverage service and refill condiments as needed.
• Assist with tray service and dining room cleanup and reset after meals.
• Report broken equipment or tableware to supervisor.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings; complete assigned duties.
• Interact politely with residents, guests, coworkers and supervisors, maintaining confidentiality.
