Job summary

Westfield Quality Care of Aurora is seeking a part-time Dietary Cook to join our culinary team at a long-term nursing facility. You will prepare and present nutritious meals that meet residents' dietary needs and contribute to a warm, comfortable dining experience.

You'll work in a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness while collaborating with the dietary team on menus, events, and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and handle interruptions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of menu items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and execute special occasions and events
• Ensure that all food is handled and prepared according to established protocols and regulations
• Maintain accurate inventory and ordering of supplies and equipment
• Provide exceptional customer service to our residents and staff
